But nothing concrete so far. There's reason to hope though according to LA Times' Geoff Boucher:<br /><br /><center><div align="left" style="width:425px">"Speaking of Luke Cage, a.k.a. Power Man, I hear that there’s more talk underway about putting the urban hero into his own film and that a notable Hollywood star is now having (very) preliminary talks with Marvel Studios about the property and its potential."<div style="text-align: right;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Geoff Boucher<br />Hero Complex, LA TIMES</span></div></div></center><br />For those who don't know him, Luke Cage, aka Power Man, is a fictional black superhero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. A streetwise youth, the man called Lucas was sent to prison for a crime he did not commit. In exchange for parole, Lucas clandestinely underwent an experimental procedure, originally intended to generate immunity to all illness; instead, it inadvertently granted him steel-hard skin and heavier, enhanced muscle. He then becomes a sort of super-enhanced private detective before meeting Iron Fist and joining the 'Heroes For Hire ' crew later on.<br /><br />I heard that Director John Singleton (who directed Fast and Furious 2) is likely to helm the project.<br /><br />The movie Luke Cage hasn't been officially confirmed yet though.
